Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Paper Mâché Dream Balloon' is a deliberate stylistic departure, trading the band's electric, high-energy psychedelia for a pastoral and whimsical sound built exclusively from acoustic instruments. The arrangements feature a rich palette of flute, clarinet, double bass, and sitar, creating a mellow, psych-pop and baroque folk atmosphere that often contrasts with the album's frequently dark and surreal lyrical themes. This focus on acoustic arrangements and concise, melodic songwriting highlights the group's versatility and stands as a distinct, concept-driven project within their prolific discography.
