Space Heavy

Space Heavy cover art

Conceived during commutes between London and Liverpool, 'Space Heavy' thematically explores the notion of the 'space between', translating a narrative of lost connection into a sound that drifts between hazy, jazz-inflected textures and jarring, abrasive rock outbursts. Working with producer Dilip Harris, Archy Marshall’s compositions emphasize both muted negative space and primal tension, with his characteristic gravelly vocals navigating a landscape of shimmering guitars, spontaneous saxophone lines, and a rhythm section that provides a dynamic, visceral anchor.
