Biography
South London singer and guitarist Archy Marshall, whose records as King Krule blend punk, jazz, hip-hop and dub behind a cavernous baritone. '6 Feet Beneath the Moon' (2013) and the acclaimed 'The Ooz' (2017) appeared on #XL Recordings#, followed by 'Man Alive!' (2020) and 'Space Heavy' (2023). He also records as Edgar the Beatmaker. Born in Southwark in 1994, Marshall first released music as Zoo Kid while still at school, and his songs pair diaristic lyrics with decaying, jazz-inflected arrangements.
