Breaking a five-year silence following their critically acclaimed 'Riot on an Empty Street', the Norwegian duo returns with an intensely stripped-back acoustic effort. Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe consciously rejected external instrumentation, relying almost entirely on intricate dual-guitar fingerpicking and their signature, hushed vocal harmonies. The resulting tracks are remarkably intimate, capturing a warm, bossa nova-inflected pastoral calm.
