Album Notes & Community Reviews

Acting as a manifesto for the acoustic revival movement of the early 2000s, this Norwegian duo's debut offered a radical rejection of the era's increasingly aggressive musical trends. 'Quiet Is the New Loud' features nothing more than delicately intertwined acoustic guitars, Simon & Garfunkel-esque vocal harmonies, and occasional, subtle percussion. The impeccable, hushed production creates an incredibly intimate and soothing listening environment.
