Album Notes & Community Reviews

KISS' 'Unmasked' pushed the band further toward glossy pop-rock and power pop after the disco-era experiments of 'Dynasty'. The album's title was ironic, as the group still appeared in makeup, but its lighter sound marked a clear shift away from the harder rock identity of their mid-1970s peak.
