Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by a young Zev Love X (who would later become MF DOOM), the group's debut is notable for its playful integration of educational samples and socially conscious lyricism. The record's inventive use of a Sesame Street instructional record provides a unique, satirical framing device for its themes of Black empowerment.
