Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by Vincent Kenis and St茅phane Karo, the Romani brass band from Ko膷ani announced itself to Western listeners with a program built on the asymmetrical aksak rhythms of Macedonian wedding music. Trumpeter Naat Veliov still led the band at this point, before the rejuvenated line-up of 'Alone at My Wedding'.
