Album Notes & Community Reviews

Enduring years of obsessive, perfectionist studio delays, Kraftwerk released 'Electric Cafe' as an incredibly crisp, highly digitized exploration of pure electro and synth-pop. The album features pristine, cold percussion programming and highly repetitive, mechanical vocal sampling that explicitly explores the intersection of humanity and technology. It remains a futuristic, rhythmic, and highly influential blueprint for late-80s electronic dance music.
