The debut full-length from Pepijn Caudron's theatrical side project is an overwhelming exercise in cinematic dread and dark ambient sound collage. Utilizing a wealth of obscure classical string samples, choral chanting, and jarring bursts of industrial noise, the album mimics the terrifying atmosphere of a lost European horror film score. It firmly established his reputation within the modern avant-garde and doom-jazz scenes.
