Kreng

Biography

Kreng is the solo project of Belgian composer and producer Pepijn Caudron, born on May 5, 1975. Built from samples of dark jazz, modern classical music and field recordings, Kreng's dense, cinematic sound developed through Caudron's extensive scores for the theatre company *Abattoir Fermé*. His albums on #Miasmah# include 'L'autopsie phénoménale de Dieu' (2009), 'Grimoire' (2011) and 'The Summoner' (2015), the last shaped by grief for three friends who had died. Caudron also scores films, and Kreng remains his vehicle for dark, theatrical electronic music.
