Apocalypticists

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring the creative core of the renowned black metal band Mgła, this project leans heavily into suffocating dissonance and remarkably complex, cymbal-heavy drum performances. The profoundly misanthropic album creates an overwhelmingly apocalyptic atmosphere through terrifyingly dense, mid-tempo blackened death metal riffs. It garnered immense respect from the heavy underground as a masterclass in highly technical, pitch-black sonic dread.
