Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Wakin on a Pretty Daze' is the ultimate sprawling, sunny afternoon record from Philadelphia slacker-rock king Kurt Vile. The songs are long, repetitive, and mesmerizing, built on intricate fingerpicking and hazy electric guitar solos. It captures a feeling of contented wandering, showcasing Vile's witty lyricism and easygoing charm over extended psychedelic jams.
