Album Notes & Community Reviews

This profoundly sorrowful, incredibly ambitious collaboration reimagines traditional, centuries-old Polish funeral songs through the lens of modern classical minimalism. 'Requiem ludowe' frames Adam Strug's incredibly powerful, mournful a cappella vocal delivery with stark, percussive arrangements from the Kwadrofonik ensemble. The album stands as a deeply spiritual, terrifyingly sad, and beautifully sparse acoustic meditation on death.
