Album Notes & Community Reviews

Utilizing their distinctive dual-drummer setup, Kylesa expanded heavily into atmospheric and psychedelic territories on 'Spiral Shadow'. The record deviates significantly from their crust-punk roots, incorporating shimmering clean guitars, melodic vocal harmonies, and dense, post-metal structures. This ambitious blending of abrasive sludge with expansive psychedelia helped push the boundaries of what modern heavy metal could encompass.
