Welcome to Sky Valley

Kyuss's third album, 'Welcome to Sky Valley', refines the band's stoner rock sound through expansive, psychedelic arrangements and the heavily down-tuned, bass-heavy guitar of Josh Homme. Produced by Chris Goss, the album is characterized by a warm, bottom-heavy production which immerses the listener, with its original CD release uniquely grouping ten songs into three distinct suites. The record marked the debut of bassist Scott Reeder and the final appearance of founding drummer Brant Bjork, solidifying its status as a seminal and influential work of the 1990s desert rock scene.
