Album Notes & Community Reviews

Functioning as a masterwork of totalitarian satire and terrifying sonic oppression, 'Nova akropola' is one of the darkest and most imposing entries in the Slovenian avant-garde collective's discography. Heavy mechanical rhythms collide with monumental orchestral samples and frighteningly guttural vocals, building an atmosphere of militaristic terror. The record effectively crystallized the martial industrial subgenre, deeply influencing countless darkwave and industrial acts to follow.
