Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pioneering the incredibly complex art of vocalese, this groundbreaking vocal trio flawlessly translates rapid-fire instrumental bebop solos into sophisticated, highly literate lyricism. The wonderfully mellow, fiercely technical harmonies introduced an entirely new, deeply intellectual dimension to the vocal jazz idiom.
