Album Notes & Community Reviews
Pianist Larry Willis fully embraces the electric piano on this groove-heavy, highly melodic jazz-funk outing. Released on the Groove Merchant label, the album balances deep, infectious basslines and backbeats with Willis's sophisticated, post-bop harmonic sensibilities, resulting in a prime example of mid-70s accessible jazz fusion.
