Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released remarkably when she was just 18 years old, the British singer-songwriter's debut album is a profound display of mature, razor-sharp folk music. Backed by members of Noah and the Whale and Mumford & Sons, her intricate acoustic guitar playing and dark, poetic lyricism tackle themes of romantic disillusionment and religious doubt. The Mercury Prize-nominated release cemented her as the leading voice of the London nu-folk scene.
