Album Notes & Community Reviews

Kathleen Hanna's electro-punk trio expanded their militant feminist politics with sharper, more polished dance-floor production on their sophomore release. 'Feminist Sweepstakes' incorporates heavier drum machine sampling and synthesizer basslines, bridging the raw attitude of riot grrrl with the emerging electroclash movement.
