Album Notes & Community Reviews
Backed by a remarkably sympathetic Boston rhythm section, the saxophonist showcases the incredibly complex, highly linear improvisational theories inherited from Lennie Tristano. The dry, vibrato-less tone perfectly highlights his staggering harmonic intelligence and cool aesthetic.
