Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded live during an incredibly intimate club residency in Massachusetts, the intensely analytical alto saxophonist is captured leading an exceptionally fluent, deeply swinging quartet. Supported by the highly intuitive piano work of Ronnie Ball, his famously dry, vibrato-less tone perfectly articulates the complex, rapidly shifting harmonic logic of his Tristano-influenced improvisations.
