Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Charisma' is a Lee Morgan Blue Note session featuring a strong hard-bop lineup including Jackie McLean, Hank Mobley, Cedar Walton, Paul Chambers, and Billy Higgins. The album presents Morgan in a confident small-group context after his mid-1960s commercial peak. Its later standing reflects both the depth of Blue Note's catalog and Morgan's consistency as a bandleader.
