V
by Legião Urbana
'V' marks a deliberate shift towards a darker, more introspective sound, characterized by progressive rock structures and medieval-inspired compositions. The album features the band's longest track, the orchestral, four-part "Metal Contra as Nuvens," alongside a 13th-century Galician-Portuguese cantiga, with its intentionally slow and somber arrangements reflecting a period of national economic crisis and personal turmoil for frontman Renato Russo.
