Album Notes & Community Reviews
Eschewing the wild, conceptual exotica for which he would become famous, 'Thinking of You' finds the arranger operating in a purely romantic, easy-listening mode. Lush strings and gentle, atmospheric choirs reinterpret popular standards to create an immersive, soothing mood piece. It is a quintessential artifact of the post-war high-fidelity instrumental pop market.
