Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Mountain' is Leslie West's solo album and the immediate precursor to the band of the same name. Produced with Felix Pappalardi, the record established the thick guitar tone and heavy blues-rock approach that would soon define Mountain. It is often treated as a bridge between late-1960s heavy psych and early hard rock.
