Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Chicago-based cellist and composer intertwines improvisational acoustic instrumentation with live radio static and localized field recordings on this electroacoustic release. 'The Ceiling Reposes' serves as a delicate sound collage, capturing transient FM broadcasts and molding them into suspenseful yet remarkably soothing ambient drones. The highly avant-garde project effectively turns random atmospheric interference into an active compositional instrument.
