Album Notes & Community Reviews

Abandoning their dance-punk roots, Liars created this abrasive concept album about 17th-century witch trials. 'They Were Wrong, So We Drowned' is full of primal, repetitive rhythms and dissonant electronics. While initially controversial, it has been reclaimed as a brave and innovative work of experimental rock.
