Showcasing a marked evolution in technical proficiency, the Connecticut quintet's second album perfectly encapsulates the driving energy of American power metal. The intricate, dueling guitar harmonies and soaring vocal acrobatics are steeped in dark fantasy and epic, nocturnal atmospheres.
