Biography
Liege Lord is a power metal band from Stamford, Connecticut, and a cult name in American metal. Formed in 1984, the band released three studio albums in the 1980s: 'Freedom's Rise', 'Burn to My Touch' and 'Master Control'. The constant core of Tony Truglio, Matt Vinci and Frank Cortese carried the band from its *Judas Priest* influenced beginnings to a faster, sharper speed metal sound, with singers Andy Michaud and Joe Comeau fronting different eras. The band broke up around 1990 and reformed in 2012.
