Album Notes & Community Reviews
This incredibly obscure, hyper-local cassette release is a prime example of the deeply unpolished, subterranean Memphis rap sound. 'Shake Junt' relies strictly on lo-fi, highly repetitive drum machine programming and gritty, hyper-sexualized lyrical themes. It exists today as a raw, completely unfiltered artifact of the 90s Southern hip-hop tape-trading culture.
