Kurt Heasley drastically pivoted away from the aggressively dense, noisy shoegaze of his debut, creating a remarkably lethargic, incredibly warm masterpiece of dream pop. The incredibly slow-moving, deeply atmospheric compositions feature heavily processed, whispered vocals buried beneath layers of gentle, swirling guitar effects and subtle electronics. It remains a critically revered, highly elusive hidden gem within the 1990s American independent scene.
