Produced with Seth Manchester, the album explores themes of religious hypocrisy, divine judgment, and torment through Hayter's classically-trained, polyphonic vocals, which shift from operatic arrangements to raw, guttural cries. The album's unsettling atmosphere is heightened by the use of found audio, including samples from televangelist Jimmy Swaggart, marking a critically acclaimed and final statement under the Lingua Ignota alias.
