Album Notes & Community Reviews

Hunter Hunt-Hendrix's 'transcendental black metal' manifesto comes to life on 'Aesthethica'. The album replaces the grim atmosphere of traditional black metal with ecstatic, major-key tremolo picking and the stuttering 'burst beat' drumming technique. It is a dense, philosophical, and highly technical deconstruction of the genre.
