Album Notes & Community Reviews
Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Sonic Youth in the 1980s New York underground, Live Skull delivered a suffocatingly dark noise-rock masterpiece. The record is dominated by churning, heavily dissonant twin-guitar attacks and tribal drum rhythms, constructing a deeply ominous and uniquely urban post-punk atmosphere.
