Biography
New York noise rock band formed in 1982 by guitarists Mark C. and Tom Paine. Live Skull mixed angular guitars, bleak songs and sheets of noise on 'Bringing Home the Bait', 'Cloud One' and, after singer Thalia Zedek joined, 'Dusted' and 'Positraction'. The band split in 1990, then re-formed in 2016 around Mark C. and drummer Richard Hutchins, returning with 'Saturday Night Massacre' in 2019 and 'Party Zero' in 2023. They remain a key cult act of the post-no wave New York underground.
