Recorded while exiled in Paris, this magnificent tribute project finds the legendary Chilean ensemble reimagining the profound catalog of folklorist Violeta Parra. The band masterfully weaves indigenous Andean instrumentation, such as quenas and charangos, into complex, sprawling progressive rock arrangements. It acts as both a virtuosic musical achievement and a deeply moving homage to the mother of the Nueva Canci贸n Chilena movement.
