Album Notes & Community Reviews

Anchored by the bubbling organ grooves of Big John Patton, Lou Donaldson's alto saxophone sails through an irresistibly greasy, blues-soaked session. 'The Natural Soul' is a quintessential toe-tapper that highlights the playful, remarkably mellow energy of 1960s soul jazz.
