Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed by the remaining members of Bauhaus after Peter Murphy's departure, Love and Rockets debuted with an incredibly lush, deeply psychedelic exploration of alternative rock. The album replaces gothic gloom with heavily chorused acoustic guitars, soaring synthesizers, and highly melodic, philosophical lyricism. 'Seventh Dream of Teenage Heaven' is a beautiful, highly atmospheric, and deeply spiritual triumph of 80s neo-psychedelia.
