Album Notes & Community Reviews
Operating out of Lloyd Barnes' legendary Wackie's studio in the Bronx, this female duo contrasts the sweetness of lovers rock with incredibly heavy, atmospheric dub production. The raw, slightly lo-fi textures and hypnotic basslines distinguish it remarkably from the slicker reggae coming out of London during the same era.
