Album Notes & Community Reviews
Pitched as an anti-breakup record, this project heavily warps traditional singer-songwriter formats into sprawling, surreal psychedelia and sound collage. The album playfully explores vulnerability and emotional messy-ness via unpredictable song structures, tape loops, and lush soul instrumentation. It underscores Taja Cheek's mastery of blending avant-garde textures with approachable pop melodies.
