Album Notes & Community Reviews

Widely hailed as one of the greatest orchestral recordings ever captured to tape, Carlos Kleiber's blistering interpretation of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony is a monumental triumph of classical interpretation. The performance is incredibly energetic, profoundly passionate, and remarkably crisp, breathing intensely epic, remarkably lush life into the definitive masterpiece of the romantic era.
