Mike VanPortfleet's hushed, reverb-drenched vocals drift through dense, extremely slow-moving waves of synthesizer drones, heavily processed guitars, and stark drum machine beats. The profoundly melancholic, highly ethereal recording remains a critically revered masterpiece of the 1990s American gothic underground.
