Serving as a direct sequel to his 2007 ambient collection 'Digital Shades Vol. 1', Anthony Gonzalez fully immerses himself in vintage analog synthesizers and 1980s fantasy film soundtracks. The record is entirely instrumental, eschewing the massive pop hooks of his previous work for sweeping, atmospheric progressive electronic music. It functions as a deeply nostalgic, cinematic homage to early video game and sci-fi scores.
