Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded entirely in his Los Angeles garage, the indie-pop icon delivers the most sparse, stripped-back, and lethargic album of his career. The record leans heavily into muted acoustic guitars, simple drum machine loops, and a noticeable lack of his signature jangly, upbeat energy. Despite polarizing some fans with its intense minimalism, it acts as a deeply exhausted, honest reflection on touring fatigue and the modern music industry.
