Dumpmeister

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as part of a prolific 2017 run, 'Dumpmeister' is a collaborative showcase that frames Mach-Hommy's abstract lyricism against a backdrop of varied, boom-bap-inspired production from names like The Alchemist and Knxwledge. The album is defined by its extensive features from underground contemporaries, creating a dense, feature-heavy listening experience with a raw and dusty aesthetic. While Hommy's performances are characteristically intricate, the project stands out as a testament to the collaborative spirit of its scene, blending jazzy loops with grimy, soul-crushing beats.
