Lijnverkenning

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Lijnverkenning', the project of Dutch sound artist Rutger Zuydervelt, an abstract yet intimate approach is taken, weaving together disparate sonic elements with a distinct rawness. The album's composition notably incorporates field recordings, including a found opera-rehearsal tape discovered on a second-hand memo recorder, blending them into its unique electronic soundscape. Released on the quiet details label, the CD version presents the work as a single, continuous longform piece, emphasizing its cohesive and immersive nature.
