The Beauty of Sadness

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Utilizing exclusively processed electric guitars and bass without the use of any synthesizers or samplers, the German trio constructed deeply isolating, monochromatic dronescapes. The incredibly dense, slow-moving sonic textures prioritize a profound sense of overwhelming melancholy and stark minimalism. It stands as a foundational, highly influential work within the development of the European dark ambient and drone underground.
