Album Notes & Community Reviews

An eccentric collection of 41 brief, fragmentary tracks recorded by the ever-shifting Japanese collective led by Tori Kudo. The arrangements are deliberately fragile and loose, utilizing brass and strings in a naive, improvisational manner. The record captures a childlike, spontaneous energy that borders on outsider art while retaining a warm pop sensibility.
